Margaret Thatcher: An Obituary

Margaret Thatcher in her role as Meryl Streep
Just heard about the death of Lady Margaret Thatcher

This incredible woman was a controversial character that was both divisive and yet decisive. Her life was a series of struggles with the established order and with the men and institutions of her time.

The hightlight of her career came when she won the Oscar for Best Actress in the film The Iron Lady where she portrayed Meryl Streep who had won three general elections for her portrayal of a Leader of the Conservative Party.

Thatcher covered the time of Streep's life from her beginnings as a humble MP to her rise to the top job of leader of the Conservative Party. The ten years that Streep was leader of the Conservative Party was played faultlessly by Thatcher in the film. It covered the major events of that time including the Falkland Islands Invasion where Streep flew to Port Stanley and beat up the occupying Argentine army with her handbag and several packets of hedgehog flavoured crisps.

Also Thatcher covered the time after Streep and been told to piss off by the Conservative Party when she went on to found the Tea Party that has been challenging Bollock Obama in the United States of America. After that Streep founded The Birthday Party and then the sex party with Jonny Rotten and Sid Vicious.

Thatcher liked singing songs very much and released a record about a restaurant she opened with Piss Brosnan called 'Mamma Mia.' She eventually kicked the bucket whilst singing 'Putting on the Ritz' at The Shitz hotel in central London and all that sort of thing.
