- Waited for coffee pot to boil for ten minutes
- Smelled burning coffee
- Realised forgot to put water in coffee pot
- Burned fingers whilst unscrewing hot coffee pot.
- Emptied burned coffee into bin
- Filled pot with water and screwed top of pot back onto base
- Put pot back onto gas ring
- Put milk into cup and put into microwave, switched microwave on
- Heard coffee pot boiling.
- Removed cup from microwave and poured coffee into cup.
- Realised forgot to put coffee in pot and was pouring hot water into milk.
- Burned finger on pot again whilst unscrewing it
- Put fresh coffee and water into pot and waited another blasted 10 minutes
- Poured superb coffee into cup of milk
- Realised microwave was set to defrost and milk was actually cold
- Reset microwave and put tepid milky coffee into microwave and switched on
- Waited for the 'dinggg' of the microwave.
- Microwave oven went 'Dinggggg'
- Saw milky coffee spilled all over microwave tray.
- Tipped spilled milk back into cup as best way as possible.
- Watched as the cup boiled over as cold spilled coffee is added to hot coffee
- Cleaned floor of spilled coffee.
How likely is yours truly going to thrash the damn servants for taking a day off for the second time in six months?
Outrageous! How dare they leave you to fend for yourself in the kitchen all alone!!
