The Scandal of Homelessness and Empty Houses.

Empty Slum Property
Just been reading some statistics in the newspapers about the shame of social housing in this country.

The statistics are shocking and I had to get my butler to explain them to me. However, in essence there are over nearly 1,000,000 empty homes in this country but at the same time approximately 1,770,116 households awaiting a place to live! It's a disgrace!

Well I don't know about you but this seems very silly! Lots of places for people to live but nobody knowing where they actually are or somebody lost the keys and all that sort of thing.

So what is to be done about this? Well I have devised a tip-tip plan to solve this grave problem and silence all those critics that have nothing better to do with themselves except complain, moan and whine about things all the time.

All right so according to the critics the nub of this issue is the disparity between those searching for a home to live and the number of vacant properties dotted about the place. So the logical thing to do would be to create an organisation that brings together the two parties and lets them to their business, however the problem here is the cost and what with an apparent recession all over the place I think that this would be a bad idea.

Instead a much cheaper and also much more fun way to deal with the matter is to simply bomb all the vacant homes. This solution seems bleeding obvious to me I don't know why nobody has thought of this before.

In one radical gesture the disparity would have disappeared overnight, everyone who was looking for a place to live would be doing so with justification, nobody would be able to complain about "so many empty houses... bla bla bla", the RAF would have somewhere to practice unloading their guided missiles, there would be some spectacular youtube moments and balance would have been brought to society and the country once more. I do wish people would ask me about these things.
